Playmobil, ESA partner on toy starter pack for a space mission on the moon

They have taken them to space (for real) and advised on their futuristic Mars vehicles. Now the European Space Agency (ESA) is partnering again with Playmobil to explore the moon. The Starter Pack Space Mission is the latest to come from the collaboration.

A Belgian sculptor credited with the "Fallen Astronaut" figurine left on the surface of the moon in 1971 has now fallen himself. Artist Paul Van Hoeydonck died on Saturday, May 3, at his home in Antwerp, Belgium. He was 99 years old.
