Astronauts' biographies and other first-hand accounts of space history are sought by collectors not only because they are interesting to read and are a valuable source of information, but also to be autographed by their author(s).
While the first edition of a book is often considered the most valuable by collectors, before there can be a first edition, there are uncorrected proofs circulated to editors and colleagues for review.
Finding these "galleys" can be difficult as they are limited by publishers to small runs (sometimes, less than 100 are printed). Presented here are some examples.
